Over the last few months we have been asked many times if we are filming the Royal Wedding.
Not the service which the BBC are covering, but the private part of the day – the speeches, the party and the fun stuff.
It’s not surprising that so many have asked – after all we have filmed many prestigious and high level events for royalty including Peter Phillips’ wedding (the Queen’s nephew), Tim Knatchbull (the Queen’s godson), Prince Andrew’s 50th Birthday (at Buckingham Palace), and countless Earls and Dukes (including the Duke of Westminster), as well as foreign Royalty (including the Qatari Royal family).
We presume we have a reputation for being a safe pair of hands to provide high quality with total discretion. You won’t find our footage of HM The Queen on YouTube!
We have heard that The Queen herself was asked if we should film the day, and night before too. Our advocate was told by her that they didn’t need video unfortunately, so no we won’t be there this time. But we know the photographers that have the honour, and we wish them the very best of luck for the day.
Of course we would like to wish Prince William and Kate Middleton the very best for Friday 29th April, and beyond.
